Nice clean, comfortable hotel room. There was 3 of us in a room so the sofa-bed was used, which wasn't bad! Breakfast was a fairly typical American breakfast, constantly restocked and cleaned, with slightly different options per day. Concierge and housekeeping teams were very helpful and kept rooms clean every day. Good location - lots of local food options, quieter and comfortable, with easy access to Brooklyn and Manhattan too.

Queens has easy access to all the major attractions.Subway close, but badly designed for wheelchairs and prams.
Everyone we spoke to was exceptionally friendly, from help with our wheelchair,to advice and directions.
Lots of lovely places to eat.
Would happily recommend the area.

Why were there so many taxes. Is it just the Ramada Hotel?
Why were there so many taxes. Is it just the Ramada Hotel? Why is there a hotel tax and a room tax in addition to city and state taxes? I did not incurr hotel and room taxes a year ago at a Holiday Inn in Queens.

Queens is more modern and you have plenty of choices for food. I'm an Asian and the food in Queens are little bit different than Chinatown so really depends on the preference.
One thing I do notice are Queens has more Malls, big malls so is easy to shop for clothing. And also the hotel cost and parking are little bit cheaper than downtown. If you don't mind to take metro, Queens are good option.

There is a lot to do, many options to spend your day.
There is a lot to do, many options to spend your day. Hotels are close to the Airport- minutes away. However, everything is expensive, we came from spending a few days in Cleveland and everthing in Queens was more expensive, especially food.

This was a good hotel for the proximity to JFK with a reasonable rate. The rooms are small, but the bed is comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The staff was friendly. We arrived very late, and it was a very smooth check-in.
The location of this hotel is excellent, the nearest subway station is just 1-2 minutes walk with great access to Manhattan and in addition, there is a direct connection to JFK/AirTrain Jamaica station. We had our room cleaned every day and got bottled water refilled each day. Breakfast was tasty and the stuff was super nice, you can leave your luggage after the check-out for free in their storage room. The rooftop terrace had a great view of New York skyline. Would definitely stay again.
Perfect location. Don't let the first block or 2 fool you once you walk towards Gantry Plaza State Park its a different world perfect location. Value for money for a hotel near Manhattan especially for someone travelling from Europe. Also near subway stations about 5 mins away. The Breakfast was OK for a quick snack on the go shame they don't do hot food like scrambled eggs etc. The staff were pleasant and friendly.
The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. All the room amenities were good. Due to the location of the hotel, there are no restaurants nearby where we could walk and have dinner. The area is not the best for walking, however we were able to order through U er eats and get food delivered.
The morning breakfast even though it was not a hot breakfast was very good.
.
I stayed here for six days with my family.
The location is perfect. You can do everything by subway.
Very good breakfast. Quiet and safe area of Queens. Spectacular service and cleaning. Room cleaning was done daily.
I definitely recommend and will return.
Congratulations to the hotel team.
I hope you maintain this excellent quality.
See you soon...
We were delayed by weather and scrambling for a hotel. We were able to get a room here, and it was our refuge! The next day, the staff held our luggage as we explored The City, and them we took the free shuttle to the airport! A perfect ending to what could have been a nightmare travel story! Thank you, Booking.com and Springhill Suites!
The Asiatic Hotel is located in the heart of Queens, having direct subway connection to Manhattan. This is a safe neighborhood and there are always people on the street even at night. Very clean with very comfortable beds. For the NYC prices, it is a good value for money and a recommended place to stay while visiting the city.
The hotel is simple, clean and comfortable for a short stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is 24 hour tea and coffee in the entrance. It is within easy access of La Guardia airport, either by taxi or by public transport. There are dozens of shops and restaurants in the area and Chinatown in Queens is very close by.
The receptionist was friendly, hotel located between Train E, F and Train 7, so it was convenience to Manhattan or Flushing. My room faced highway, the view was good. You could hear sounds but not noisy. The room was clean and adequate. Free breakfast only from 6:30am to 9:00am, so watch out you may miss.
I needed a place to stay for 4 nights while my friend and I explored New York and attended a concert at Madison Square Garden. The Flushing Hotel provided affordable accommodation close to a subway station which meant that getting into and out of town was straight forward.
Clean, spacious rooms, cool views of the bridge. Hotel hosts a lot of parties it seems but it didn't disturb the noise levels in our room. Easy to access midtown Manhattan via car/taxi, Long Island City has lots of nice small restaurants, parks, and views.
Good location and warm setup in the room. Roof Cafe has a beautiful view of Manhattan. Enjoyed very much with my family from a late dinner there. A Citi bike sharing station nearby the hotel is a plus for taking bike touring in long island city.
The hotel was located close to everything we wanted to do in Flushing. The staff was really friendly at check in. It’s you what you pay for hotel. Nothing fancy but good enough to spend two nights checking out restaurants in Flushing.
This is an adequate no frills hotel. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. The location is great - right next to Queensboro Plaza and Queens Plaza, with access to many subway lines. Easy from JFK.
We had to find the closest hotel to my aunt’s home, she is currently going through chemo. The property was a great location, close to the mall, subway, and the best bagel shop Rego Bagels.
The hotel is one of the cheapest options in Flushing. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and there is good access to public transportation. The receptionists seemed nice to us.
Good, clean hotel with efficient staff.
The Queens hotel is just 10 mins walk from Woodside subway station to Manhattan, which is a bonus.
Area is a friendly neighborhood.
Unbeatable price for this location and type of room. I don't know if it should have 4 stars but when taking the price into account it beats a lot of 4 star hotels.
