The breakfast was great. Dinner was great the night before. Staff was lovely. Room was clean and comfortable with great view. Our only complaint was we were right above the bar and could hear the music. But we were tired so fell asleep pretty quick.

Barrow has so much history. It is ideally situated for the lakes and Walney Island is just a stone throw away. The Round House Cafe at Biggar Bank on the island is well worth a visit whatever the weather.

Don't be put off by the area. A few bars for food and drink. It's a perfect base to stay, a short drive to the beautiful lake district and a short trip to the south lakes zoo. Secure parking and a lovely room to relax after your trips out

Lovely area would suit most people.
Lovely area would suit most people. There are hidden gems if you like to explore. Plenty of shopping facilities. Easy to eat out at reasonable prices. The roads are clearly signed and easy to navigate. A great base for either staying in Barrow-in=Furness or travelling around the lakes daily.
A quiet holiday to extreme adventures, your choice is within the Lake District.

Hotel does not provide value for money, much better hotels available for cheaper price. Pockets of good/excellence from staff, but major improvements required in the hospitality food preparation particularly for breakfast, which was extremely dissappointing. Generally, grounds are okay but nothing particularly special, the description and photos, do not accurately reflect the experience.
Would not take much to improve all round, as a number of staff were very nice and supportive.

This place has a really negative aura.
This place has a really negative aura. I can't even explain why but I was anxious while there. We should have booked a stay much closer to the Lakes or at least in Ulverston that is just a stone's throw away.

We paid £187 for our small double room and was not value for money. My sister also booked the same room in booking com and only paid £140. When we checked in we looked at booking com and the rooms were then only £88. I felt we massively overpaid. The restaurant dinner was nice but again overpriced. 6 adults with 3 bottles of average wine - bill came to £352. I have never ever paid this much in my life. Water to the room cost us £30 😔. It was such a rip off . Your prices need to reflect that this is a 3 star hotel in Barrow !
Lee was the greatest host with amazing hospitality. The apartment was fully stocked and even provided complimentary milk, bread, cereal etc. Bed was comfy and the jacuzzi spa was a plus. Tv was loaded with films and Netflix. The whole vibe of the flat was great very modern. Easy parking and close to many shops. And 15 min drive to Abbey furness and safari zoo. Definitely would stay here when coming to Barrow in Furness ♥️
Lovely quiet b&b with fabulous breakfast. I live in Barrow so wouldn't normally stay in hotels or b&bus in the town, but my boiler had broken and the house was freezing. Wasn't disappointed with the accommodation, owners got up early to do a breakfast for me before I went to work. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
Location was OK, but a bit far out for working in Barrow Town Centre. If I'm honest I thought the hotel looked a bit "Tired". The skirting boards in rooms were flaking of paint and I'd have guessed it was due for a major overhaul.
It looks like a great location for weddings though
The room in the annex part of building was excellent. Breakfast was good . Evening dinner was not available during our stay.
Hotel was very central for visit to Barrow in Furness and also travelling to the other parts of the Lake District
Everything. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast superb and staff very efficient and friendly. Location good for what we wanted to do, close to Furness Abbey and Sandscale nature reserve. Easy walk into Barrow town centre.
Car parking not included, but was able to use free wetherspoon parking behind hotel, which was hit and miss , but I got a space on Sunday evening. Then you get to have a late night drink in the pub.
The place is so clean and the host Ian is very hospitable. Accessible to transport as nearby to train station and just close to the town centre. A good place to stay in barrow for the price.
Simple but good value hotel. Clean; staff friendly and helpful. It's right in the town centre and low cost parking is available nearby. Nice sunny terrace outside for an evening drink.
clean and near the barrow town Centre which had many attraction nearby.
while Lake District was an hour drive but the attractions nearby in barrow, ulverston, were awesome too
It's cheap. It's not a luxury hotel, but a cheap one, so the problems were OK. Lack of hot water was ok for the 3 nights I stayed there. Staff friendly and helpful.
The room was a very good size, lovely a warm when I arrived, easy to access and find.
Facilities were good, all the usual you’d expect from a hotel/B&B.
